Detective A.A. DuPine arrives in New Orleans to find his would-be employer dead and the famed Club 1002 burned down in an apparent case of arson. NOLA Police detective Guy Monty Montessor is assigned to follow DuPine as they investigate the arson and try to uncover exactly why DuPine was hired in the first place.
In the aftermath of the fire, the Saad Sisters, Sheira and Dinah, both with their own ties to the club, seek to find as many survivors as they can, looking for one in particular. Paths will cross and lead all four to discover the difficulty of uncovering the truth in the Big Easy!
