SUMMARY: Canada and the world needs a pure hero to safe guard it against the threats of Evilily. Darkness threatens and only the Light of God can shine through it as a new hero is born, Iconic!
COMMENTS: This is an extremely personal comic. It deals with the power of God and the blood of Satan. It deals with unexpected powers and taking on the personal responsibility to wield them. The Author Richard Vasseur is the key figure in this comic as he becomes the title figure Iconic. It’s supporting characters feature his nephew Derek and his niece Madison. Madison passes away in her sleep 2 years ago, and while that is not in the comic, the comic is dedicated to her. The story focuses on the struggle between Iconic and Evilily as the fate of the world hangs in the balance. It is a fun silver age style story that became even more fun for me since I know Rich. Even if you don’t know Rich yourself you will enjoy this story. It is designed for fans of comics with a clearly defined sense of good and evil. If you like black and white indie comics give Iconic a try.
