NEW COMICS 4 THIS WEEK (06/18/20)

*All comics will be rated on a scale from 1 to 10*

Batman And The Outsiders #13

The Flash Annual #3

The Flash Annual # 3 – I like how this annual was told by the viewpoint of Captain Boomerang and if truth be told, this annual didn’t exactly feature The Flash vs The Suicide Squad as the latter was promptly featured in the background and Boomerang’s recollection of The Squad’s mission to capture Deathstroke is just hilarious (Almost like you’re watching a Shane Black movie) as well as the tone of The Flash himself such as fighting the Squad with a burger in hand and talking like Wally Cleaver at one point and for me, I enjoyed what Williamson brought to the table because this showed me that not all annuals are dull and overpriced, this was a very fun read.

Hawkman #24

Hawkman # 24- WOW!!! It was such a joy to see Hawkman and Hawkwoman reunited all while Carter is being faced with all of the people who’s lives he took during his time as Ktar Deathbringer; I enjoyed how Venditti brought in some Indiana Jones elements for this story and for a character like Hawkman, it works perfectly, plus the story never dragged as every page just explodes with action and this is one of the most exciting series DC’s putting out.

Metal Men #7

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #5

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles # 5- A great and entertaining conclusion to a crossover that was extremely fun; I said it before and I’ll say it again- All comic book companies (Looking at you, Marvel and DC!) should try to deliver a wonderful crossover like this one and this is just me talking but I would really love to see “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2”

Strange Adventures #2

Young Justice #15

I’ll recap the latest happenings at the comic forum this Sunday and I’ll return with “Review Corner” and New Comics Day next Wednesday so thanks for sticking around and I’ll see you all next time.
