Amazing Spider-Man # 76 – Peter Parker’s world is very bleak, to say the least as he lays in a hospital bed fighting for his life in the aftermath of his and Ben Reilly’s battle with The U-Foes, while Ben really wants Peter’s blessing to be Spider-Man again; I really enjoyed how the emotional levels displayed in this issue were turned up a notch as both of our heroes found themselves in turmoil, and while most comic fans may find an issue like this boring, it really comes off as intriguing thanks in part to Zeb Wells’ strong script and Patrick Gleason’s wonderful artwork (He can definitely take such powerful moments and turn them into something special); The 90s teen in me is cheering for Ben to be amazing (No pun intended) as Spider-Man and thanks to such stellar issues like this one, it’s going to be a wild ride.

Immortal Hulk # 50 – Al Ewing and Joe Bennett bring their astonishing run to a close with this series finale and WOW!!…..they went out in style! It was such a blast to see all the past incarnations of The Hulk’s psyche for what may be the last time, and you’ll be blown away by the sight of The One Below All, and his appearance in the book will remind anyone of that fold-out from “All-Star Batman & Robin, The Boy Wonder # 4” (Marvel actually went there…..no fooling); This was a series finale that did not disappoint but left us with fond memories of a Hulk series that will no doubt be remembered for taking such brilliant yet weird chances in its storytelling and once again establishing the horror elements of The Hulk.

Symbiote Spider-Man: Crossroads # 3 – Following in the footsteps of the “King In Black” series from a while back, this series once again goes into space for an unforgettable adventure, and it gets even larger when The Eternals come into the picture (Probably because of their upcoming movie coming next month); This series is still a fun romp for anyone to enjoy but since it’s getting to the end, I feel like there wasn’t enough time to fully expand the story but I hope the plot itself will be very cohesive with the next (and last) issue, and I’m also hoping that we’ll get a very good conclusion.

Well, that’s it for me this week. Thanks for sticking around and I will see you all next time.
