Batman/Superman # 14– This book’s current arc with Batman and Superman battling the Brainiac protocol and the composite Batman/Superman really took me back to the glorious days of The Silver Age and I felt like the Hi-Tech elements in this arc was done very well, plus it was great to see Steel and Batwoman get some shine as it was a clever way to connect the Batman/Superman families and really hope that we get some dynamic storylines like this one because it only makes this title special.

Fantastic Four: Antithesis # 4– This series had some real promise, and the first three issues were really good, but I do feel like in this issue, the ending was extremely rushed and could have been better. With both icons like Mark Waid and Neal Adams at the helm, I feel like the concept of Reed Richards being Galactus could have been flesh out more but I guess it is what it is. Oh well…….maybe next time.

Maestro # 4– I really enjoy seeing The Hulk slowly transform into The Maestro and I do feel like the gets storytelling within this series, it feels like Peter David never left Incredible Hulk and for the many Hulk fans that grew up reading his stories, this is considered a great time.

Wonder Woman # 767– The showdown between Diana Prince and Maxwell Lord paid off here in this issue and while some parts are brutal, I feel like it was done very wetland I also liked the callback to Infinite Crisis where Diana killed Max (Her mind was being controlled at the time); The high standards in this series reminds us that Wonder Woman is definitely turning out to be a hit among the various DC fans, making it a must-read.

Well, that’s it for me. I’ll be back next week so thanks for sticking around and I will see you all next time.
