MILWAUKIE, Ore., (March 19, 2025)— Dark Horse Direct and Critical Role are celebrating a decade of adventure, heroism, and heartbreak with the Critical Role Origins Bookends, sculpted by Bigshot Toyworks with prototyping and paint by J.W. Productions. These bookends are crafted especially to delight fans of the popular fantasy adventure gaming series.
On one side, a golden 20-sided die is etched with the symbols of Vox Machina, representing the heroes who defeated legendary foes, toppled the Chroma Conclave, and built their legacy throughout Tal’Dorei. On the other side, a blue 12-sided die bears the marks of the Mighty Nein, the unpredictable misfits who challenged fate, forged unbreakable bonds, and saved Wildemount from an aberrant end. Each resting on a decorative base, these bookends are the perfect way to showcase your collection of Critical Role books such as The Chronicles of Exandria, The Mighty Nein Origins, and tales yet to be told. Each bookend is made of polyresin and stands 7 inches tall and 7 inches wide. Each piece also includes a hand-numbered base and a hand-numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
The Critical Role Origins Bookends are now available to pre-order exclusively from Dark Horse Direct for $179.99 and are expected to ship to customers between November and January. The bookends will be limited to 1,000 sets with an ordering limitation of two per customer.
