hustl. Introduces its fourth exclusive variant cover in their line of rare collectibles that has featured world class athletes and entertainers alongside iconic Marvel characters on official Marvel Comics releases.

HUNTINGTON, N.Y.,- November 2nd, 2022- hustl. announced today that one of the greatest rappers of all time, Hip Hop legend Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace, and Marvel’s Deadpool will take center stage in the streets of New York City on a limited-edition variant cover to celebrate the release of DEADPOOL #1, in comic shops November 2nd.

This special variant comic book cover from hustl. features art from Ken Lashley and will be available for purchase on November 2nd, 2022 in very limited quantities at TheHaul.com.

Brooklyn’s own Notorious B.I.G. sits on the throne in his first appearance on a Marvel comic cover. Throughout his influential and iconic career, Wallace was nominated for four Grammy Awards, while winning four The Source Hip Hop Music Awards, one MTV Video Music Award, and three Billboard Music Awards including Rap Artist of the Year in 1995. Wallace’s lyrical genius was recognized by both Rolling Stone and Billboard with both publications labeling him as “the greatest rapper that ever lived” and “the greatest rapper of all time” respectively. Wallace was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.

DEADPOOL #1 marks the launch of a brand new series by Nebula and Locus Award-winning writer Alyssa Wong (Doctor Aphra, Iron Fist) and artist Martin Coccolo (Banner of War). In this all-new ongoing series, Marvel’s top merc is back in business! We all know Wade Wilson is one of the top mercenaries in the Marvel Universe, even if he is simultaneously the most annoying one… but he’s pushing to make that recognition official as he auditions for the elite group known as the Atelier. Now, he has 48 hours to kill one of the world’s most famous supervillains. Only problem? He’s been kidnapped, and something …strange…is growing inside him. While The Notorious B.I.G. is not in the story or series, he will appear on this special hustl. variant cover as a limited edition collectible.

hustl. COO Keri Harris remarked, “Biggie and Hip Hop turned 50 this year, so we at hustl. were absolutely thrilled to work with his team and Marvel to create this variant as our way of paying tribute to one of the greatest and influential hip hop icons of all time. Next month, we will follow this up with another all-time great, which we cannot wait to share with pop culture fans.”
