Annual #YearinSearch List Reveals the Father of Superheroes and Modern-Day Pop-Culture Stan Lee is one of the Top Names People Searched this Year
Global online search giant Google announced its annual year in search list that unveils the most popular names and events searched in 2018. Topping the list of overall names searched in 2018 is the legendary superhero creator Stan Lee, known to millions of fans around the world as the father of superheroes and modern-day pop-culture.
Stan Lee, who passed away in November, is a man of extraordinary talent. His co-creations include Spider-Man™, The Avengers ™, X-Men™, Iron Man™, The Incredible Hulk™, The Fantastic Four™, Black Panther™, as well as thousands of others. To date, thousands of characters have been created or co-created by Stan Lee with movies based on these characters grossing more than $15 billion dollars in theaters worldwide. In September 2016, the city of Los Angeles officially proclaimed October 28th to forever be Stan Lee Day in the city of Los Angeles.
