First Comics News: Who is Frostbite?
Steve Daniels: A snowman that eats chili and peanut butter and crackers.
1st: Who are his friends?
Steve: Red the red bird, Hopper the Rabbit and Wallace the groundskeeper those are the main characters there are many other characters in the book.
1st: Who are they based on?
Steve: My life and my family and friends lives.
1st: Why go small press?
Steve: At this time its the only way I can get this out.
1st: Any plans on going to Image or some other company with Frostbite?
Steve: I hope to pitch it pretty soon.
1st: Is Frostbite a limited or an ongoing series?
Steve: It’s an ongoing series with different characters stepping up to have stories told about them like the “Dark Hopper”.
1st: Are you thinking about doing any other series?
Steve: Dark Hopper will have a book and maybe a cookbook for chili {Frostbites favorite food}
1st: Do you do any convention appearances?
Steve: Yes I have done Wizard World in Dallas, Chicago, and Planet Comicon in Kansas City; that’s my town.
1st: Will there be any guest artists or writers on the series?
Steve: No plans at this time.
1st: What is your background as an artist?
Steve: Been drawing since I could hold a crayon in my hand and all the classes I could take in school and all the conventions that I could get to talk to the artist.
