First Friday Celebrates Creativity, Entrepreneurship
Auburn, N.Y. (August 30, 2023): As a part of the First Friday series, the monthly celebration designed to promote entrepreneurism and creativity, artist Ed Catto’s new art show, A Brushful of Pulp will be hosted at The Good Shepherd’s Brewing Co. in the heart of Auburn NY’s downtown.
Catto will feature new works including paperback cover art, portraits, logo illustrations and his new vintage car series.
“I’m grateful to be working for great clients and two genre publishers, Airship27 and AHOY! Comics, and I’m eager to showcase my recent efforts,” said Catto. “Auburn has blossomed with creativity, sponsored by the Business Improvement District, and it’s so much fun to contribute.”
Catto, an enthusiast of the great illustrators of yesteryear, enjoys working in gouache and inks. This exhibition features a mix of each and all are available for purchase. And on opening night, Catto’s printed work, including books, comics and stickers will be available for purchase.
Opening night will run from 5-10 pm. The popular band, The Honkey Tonk Hindooz, will be the featured musical performers. A Brushful of Pulp runs for two months, through October 31st, 2023.
