July 20, Mt. Laurel, NJ: Dynamite Entertainment is excited to announce a licensing partnership with Japanese fashion and merchandising giant Sanrio, as well as the historic Japanese fashion brand Hysteric Glamour, on a range of clothing and collectibles featuring Dynamite properties.
Sanrio is well known for their leading role in the worldwide phenomenon of kawaii fashion, as well as their cute characters such as Hello Kitty, My Melody, Keroppi, and many more. The Hysteric Glamour brand, founded by Nobuhiko Kitamura in 1984, will produce a range of striking clothing featuring the character of Vampirella and others, with a streetwear and mass media twist. The Daughter of Drakulon’s 1969 origin falls right in line with their other collaborations and inspirations including Andy Warhol, the Sex Pistols, as well as brands like Playboy and Supreme.
