Don McGregor comes to ITHACON

Talented Writer, Artist, and Creator of Marvel’s Black Panther

Ithaca, NY – [March 3, 2025] – ITHACON is excited to host Don McGregor for the first time as a guest at ITHACON 48. McGregor, best known for his innovative Black Panther comics and passionate writing, will be appearing at the long-running convention. McGregor made his mark on comics by writing memorable comic series featuring Zorro and Marvel’s Killraven, a character spun out of H.G. Wells’ War of the Worlds. McGregor also created and co-created characters and series such as Detectives, Inc., Lady Rawhide, Ragamuffins, and Nathanial Dusk.

McGregor’s most notable projects range from James Bond to writing characters for The Batman. He has even created his series, Sabre, one of the very first graphic novels. Both Jungle Action’s Black Panther and Sabre introduced mature characters in ground-breaking storylines.

Beyond comics, McGregor’s prose books include Dragonflame ather Bedtime Nightmares, and The Variable Syndrome.
