‘Delverium’ is a Co-op Sandbox Game Launching Next Month!

Brisbane-based indie studio Sagestone Games has revealed that the Steam demo for their upcoming open-world survival crafting game, Delverium, will launch on February 7, just in time for the Steam Couch Co-Op Fest.

In Delverium, players can team up with up to three friends to explore a vast, procedurally generated world. From gathering resources and building shelters to farming, recruiting NPCs, and crafting, the game offers a rich survival sandbox experience. Adventurous players can also brave the dangers of dungeon crawling to uncover the game’s deepest secrets—if they are courageous enough.

Explore, Build, Farm, and Traverse a High-Risk Dungeon.

The project is led by indie developer Scott Lowther, with support from BAFTA Award-winning composer and audio director Jeff van Dyck (Unpacking, Forts, Paint the Town Red), alongside a small team of close collaborators.

“Delverium began as a passion project to create a co-op game for my family and I to enjoy our favorite activities together,” Scott shared. “The demo offers a glimpse of its core features with a few hours of solo or local co-op fun. The full game, releasing in 2025, will expand with additional biomes, boss fights, gear, fishing, quests, online multiplayer, and more. We invite you to join our journey, share feedback, and connect with us on Discord to help shape Delverium into something truly special.”

Delverium offers players a rich survival experience with crafting, farming, and exploration at its core. Craft tools, weapons, and shelters while recruiting NPCs to enhance trading opportunities. Manage your farm by planting crops, breeding animals, and combining harvested ingredients into recipes for sustenance and trade. The game is designed for seamless and enjoyable gameplay with features like nested crafting and an expandable inventory.

Venture into exotic biomes, hidden caves, and treacherous dungeons to gather rare materials, uncover lost treasures, and defeat powerful foes. As the hero of Delverium, it’s up to you to uncover fragments of lore and confront the mysterious “Faults” threatening the land. Whether you prefer casual farming, settlement building, or daring dungeon delves, you can play solo or with up to three friends in split-screen and online multiplayer modes.

Keep an eye out for Delverium’s demo on February 7 to experience its unique blend of survival and exploration. The game will launch on PC (via Steam) and has been confirmed to feature Steam Deck support.

More updates will be shared leading up to the launch on their Bluesky and X.
