Deadpool and his pals had a strong presence at SDCC. Not only did they have one of the more popular booths on the convention floor, but hidden in the Gasplamp District was a dream suite that one lucky attendee was able to spend the night in.
It was all to help promote Deadpool 2 and Deadpool 2: the Super Duper Cut, which will be released on digital August 7th and on DVD, Blu-Ray August 21.
Deapool and his band entertained Comic-Con attendees at his booth with Deadpool’s Dance Party:
Each day of the convention the first 1200 attendees who went to the booth got a special Deadpool themed shirt. There was a different shirt each day.
First Comics News was also able to gain access to the secret/invite only “Deadpool Dream Suite” during Comic-Con weekend. One lucky con goer was able to spend the night in the suite. Here are some pictures of the suite below:
