Comic Book Cats, number 88: Plum Crazy: Tales of a Tiger-Striped Cat Vol. 1

Comic Book Cats, number 88: Plum Crazy: Tales of a Tiger-Striped Cat Vol. 1, written & drawn by Hoshino Natsumi, published in September 2008 by Shonen Gahosha. Translated to English and published in July 2017 by Seven Seas Entertainment.
Cats pop up frequently in manga. I am not really familiar with most Japanese comic books (it’s a HUGE industry) but it seems that Plum Crazy is a popular series among younger readers. It features Plum, an adorable tabby cat who can understand humans.
This two-page sequence is such a very true-too-life sequence. Introduce an adorable cat to a group of children and of course they are going to go crazy and want to pet it (the same is absolutely true for adults) with the inevitable result of said cat becoming VERY exasperated. Just remember to read this from right to left, since that’s how the Japanese language goes, and many English translations do not flip the artwork.
There are 21 volumes of Plum Crazy by Hoshino Natsumi published in Japan. So far the first five have been translated into English.
