Comic Book Cats, number 28: Captain Action Cat: The Timestream Catastrophe #4

Comic Book Cats, number 28: Captain Action Cat: The Timestream Catastrophe #4, drawn by Art Baltazar and written by Franco Aureliani, Chris Smiths & Art Baltazar, published by Dynamite Entertainment in September 2014.
The Timestream Catastrophe was a very weird & funny team-up between Silver Age superhero/action figure Captain Action, modern-day funny animal superhero Action Cat, and the brand-new Captain Action Cat, who was basically a cross between the two. A bunch of other heroes also popped up.

Action Cat’s arch-nemesis, the fiendish Evil Cat, utilizes his “Evil Timestream Device” to search through the myriad parallel universes for a like-minded ally. He discovers Dr. Evil Cat, a villain from the Silver Age. Evil Cat attempts to snag Dr. Evil Cat with the Device, but the beam goes wild, bringing together the inhabitants of numerous other universes.
On this page Action Cat, Adventure Bug, Lady Action, and Lady Action Cat confront Evil Cat and Ghost Bug, who have armed themselves with the Evil Foam Gun. Hilarity ensues… or maybe violence… or perhaps hilarious violence.
The adventures of Action Cat and Adventure Bug have also been chronicled by Art & Franco in Aw Yeah Comics, first as a 12 issue self-published series and then as a four-issue miniseries from Dark Horse.
