Comic Book Cats, number 24: Spectacular Spider-Man #83, penciled by Greg LaRocque, inked by Jim Mooney, written by Bill Mantlo, lettered by Joe Rosen and colored by George Roussos, published by Marvel Comics in October 1983.
The Black Cat is on the prowl for the first time since a near-fatal encounter with Doctor Octopus. She comes across a pampered housecat being chased down an alley by a trio of feral felines. Shooing them away, Felicia picks up the lost kitty, who has taken an instant liking to her.
There’s some nice storytelling on this page by Greg LaRocque, especially in that bottom tier of four panels. And I like how LaRocque and inker Jim Mooney drew that cute, fluffy white kitty. She reminds me a bit of my own cat, Nettie Netzach.
