As someone who has lived in four different apartments in Queens, NYC over the past 15 years, I can attest to the accuracy of Apartment Hunt. Looking for an affordable, not-awful apartment in Noo Yawk is a combination of the stressful and the bizarre. Apartment Hunt humorously chronicles Mindy and Molly’s 2014 apartment search. On these two pages we also see Jack the cat, as well as two other cats in the room that Molly was subletting at the time.
Mindy Indy is a NYC based independent cartoonist who has written & drawn a number of fun self-published mini comics such as Misfortune Cookie and Aer Head, as well as work for Marvel and Papercutz. Check out her website for more info.
