Los Angeles based cartoonist Nate Fakes has been doing the daily Break of the Day since August 2011. His work has also appeared in the New York Times and MAD Magazine. Fakes created Red Bull cartoons for worldwide advertising campaigns with storyboards, print ads, digital ads, and television commercials. Among his other clients are Disney, Scholastic and Warner Bros.
Fakes loves cats, and in 2017 published Laser Pointers, Hairballs, and Other Cat Stuff, a collection of his cat related cartoons.
