Comic Book Cats, number 126: Justice League Europe #22

Comic Book Cats, number 126: Justice League Europe #22, penciled by Marshall Rogers, inked by Jose Marzan Jr., plotted & laid out by Keith Giffen, scripted by Gerard Jones, lettered by Bob Lappan and colored by Gene D’Angelo, published by DC Comics in January 1991.
From the “Bwah-ha-ha-ha” era of the Justice League, we have the time Power Girl’s one-eyed cat was kidnapped and held for ransom. The kidnappers quickly realized they bit off more than they can chew… or perhaps I should say the cat bit off and chewed several pieces from the kidnappers? ????
Marshall Rogers is rightfully regarded as one of the all-time great Batman artists, having penciled a short but iconic run on Detective Comics in the late 1970s. This story is a good demonstration of Rogers’ versatility, showing that he could also draw comedy, as well as really mean-looking cats! ????
