CHRIS HEMSWORTH WILL BE NETFLIX’ HULK HOGAN

Chris Hemsworth is set to portray wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan in a biopic On Netflix. Todd Phillips will direct with Scott Silver and John Pollono co-writing. Producers will include Michael Sugar, Todd Phillips, Bradley Cooper, Chris Hemsworth, Ashley Zalta, Eric Bischoff, and Terry “Hulk Hogan” Bollea.

Hulk Hogan was the biggest names in wrestling of all time and brought Wrestling into the mainstream.

Terry “Hulk Hogan” Bollea, began his career in the late 1970s in the Florida wrestling circuit, and when he started in the WWWF, he squared off against Andre the Giant as a villainous fighter. When Vince McMahon Jr. took over the company, Hogan was the face of the WWF.

The film will tell the origin story of the Hulk Hogan and the rise of Hulkamania.

The deal, which took months to put together, will include life rights, with Bollea acting as a consultant on the movie.
