Multiple outlets have reported that Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman has passed away after a 4 year battle with colon cancer.
His passing comes on a day when Major League Baseball celebrated Jackie Robinson Day, who he portrayed in the film 42. Boseman was introduced to many in his role as King T’Challa/Black Panther in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. He also played the popular comic book character in 2018’s Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War. Boseman last portrayed the Black Panther in Avengers: Endgame last year.
Boseman kept his diagnosis private and continued to work through his battle with cancer. He was at home with his wife and family at his side when he passed away.
