CELEBRATE 10 YEARS OF I HATE FAIRYLAND WITH SPECIAL FCBD 2025 EDITION AVAILABLE IN MAY

PORTLAND, Ore. 12/18/2024 — Fans of the longrunning, bestselling I HateFairyland by Skottie Young (Middlewest, Twig) won’t want to miss out on the special Free Comic Book Day 2025 edition available in May 2025 at participating local comic book shops.

In celebration of the series’ 10 year anniversary, Young takes a stroll down memory lane providing behind-the-scenes commentary as he revisits various iconic and beloved Fairyland kingdoms—and some of Gert’s most infamous stomping (literal) grounds.

Fans may also be treated to a sneak glimpse of what new I Hate Fairyland adventures await them…

“Wow. 10 years? I can’t believe you let me get away with this for that long! I love it! You’re stuck with Gert now,” said Young. “She’s never going away!!!!”

FCBD 2025 I Hate Fairyland (Lunar Code 1224IM252, Diamond Code DEC240005) will be available at participating local comic book shops on Saturday, May 3.

Skottie Young got his start at Marvel on titles like Spider-Man: Legend of the Spider Clan, Human Torch, and Venom. He soon began adapting the L. Frank Baum Land of Oz novels at Marvel with Eric Shanower. He is best known for writing and drawing the hit series Rocket Raccoon, illustrating the children’s book Fortunately, The Milk by Neil Gaiman, and the Young Marvel variant covers.
