TidalWave Comics is proud to announce the addition of Justin Trudeau comic book to its popular “Political Power” series focused on political figures around the world. “Political Power: Justin Trudeau” will be release on September 16th.
TidalWave has profiled politicians for more than 11 years using the unique storytelling properties of comic books.
Pierre Trudeau, the 15th Prime Minister of Canada, was a powerful force in Canadian politics. When his son, the charismatic teacher with camera-ready looks and an easygoing nature, delivers the eulogy for his father, Canada – and the world – took notice. A voice for the youth and calming presence during troubling times, Justin Trudeau become the 23rd Prime Minister of Canada and a media sensation.
Written by Michael Frizell, drawn by Bernat, this 24-page book is available both digitally and in print and can be found on multiple platforms. Hard cover of the comic book will be available as well with a cover by famed comic book artist Pablo Martinena.
For the first time, a special Canadian edition of the comic book will be released with the Canadian dialect thru AOD Collectables with a variant cover by Bernat.
“Non-fiction stories are sometimes more entertaining than stories involving capes and tights” said publisher Darren G. Davis “In this case the news far-out passes traditional comic books.
“The goal of the Political Power series is to offer a non-partisan profile of the political figure. Justin Trudeau is popular around the world, but like any person, he’s not without faults. As a writer, I need to find a way to balance the positives and negatives and distill a person’s life and career into a little over 20 pages or about 100 pictures”, said writer Michael Frizell.
The biography comic format allows TidalWave writers to delve into the history of newsworthy figures and explore what shaped them. Several media outlets, including CNN, FOX News, “The Today Show” and Time and People magazines, have featured the company’s line of biographical comic books.
“As a reluctant reader, I found the comic book form easy to access, so I always believed comics could both entertain and teach,” Davis said.
Print copies of the biography comics are available on Amazon. Digital versions are available from iTunes, Kindle, Nook, ComiXology, Kobo and wherever e-books are sold.
The latest biography comic book joins TidalWave’s ever-growing library of more than 200 comic book biographies. Previous titles have profiled Barack Obama, Donald Trump, Condoleezza Rice, George Bush, James Comey, Nelson Mandela, Marco Rubio and Elizabeth Warren, among others.
