BURN RESIDUE
A crime story about the cost of revenge on the human soul…
“Willy Boyd has a fire that burns inside him and devours everything. Feelings, loves, revenge…”
If the title alone doesn’t send a curious shiver down your spine, wait until you see Piccioni’s amazingly gritty art. This is crime noir at its best!

Burn Residue is the brainchild of writer/creator Jonathan Thompson who wowed us with his amazing Tales of the Dead Astronaut anthology. The art is jaw dropping gritty by Rossaro Piccioni.
Burn Residue is the first issue in a 3 part story arc. The first issue is masterfully told in page turning narration which enhances the gritty noir feel of this story. The pacing is fantastic, bringing the reading into a thrill ride they wont forget. Top it all off with one of the most interesting anti-heroes in Indie comics. Jonathan and Rossaro have a hit on their hands.
Rossaro art is fantastic, you can feel the emotions popping off the page, he easily transitions from gritty to beautiful depending on the feel of the page.
“ You never know when the game was really over, but in all the years of gambling I know…I always won.”
