After the success of the first and second issues, BUMP is back for issue three with another Kickstarter campaign. The third issue will feature some of the best up-and-coming comic book artists in short 3-page horror stories, as well as one extended 5-page story.
Written by Joe S. Farrar, BUMP is a black-and-white horror anthology that features a number of artists for each issue, coming from a number of different backgrounds and showcasing many different art styles. For issue three, there are six incredible artists on board for interior art.
● Laura Helsby
● Guilherme Grandizolli
● Chris Doray
● Joe Bortner
● Justin M. Ryan
● James Killian
The six artists will be working on six different stories, ranging from creepy tales of inhuman beings to realistic stories of dread and terror. Each story has a style that is enhanced by the specifically chosen artist working on it.
Issue three also features cover art by Ahmed Raafat, recently known for his work on his self-published comic Astro-Nudes, as well as collaborating with Kevin Smith on Quick Stops from Dark Horse Comics. Also, as is tradition with BUMP issues, issue three will also feature a special variant cover depicting the Pumpkingirl character, this time illustrated by M. Victoria Robado.
The same crowdfunding campaign will also see the release of BUMP: The Collected Edition Volume 1, collecting all three issues of the comic and a multitude of special features and extras, that will be available in both softcover and a special limited-edition hardcover copy.
BUMP 1 and 2 featured work from the following artists:
Issue 1
● Bex Ollerton, James Killian, Joel Saavedra, J. Schiek, Barry Renshaw, Elizabeth Malette, Gica Tam, and Ryan Kelly
Issue 2
● Joe Eisma, Dann Franco, Morgan Beem, Colleen Palmer
