Acclaimed Writer to be interviewed by Ed Catto

Auburn N.Y. (June 3, 2018): Legendary comics writer and creator Don McGregor, best known for his innovative Black Panther comics and passionate writing, will be appearing at the upcoming Auburn Finger Lakes Comic Con.
In addition to writing the quintessential Black Panther adventures, McGregor made his mark on comics writing memorable comics series featuring Zorro and Marvel’s Killraven, a character spun out of H.G. Wells’ War of the Worlds. McGregor also created and co-created characters and series such as Detectives, Inc., Lady Rawhide, Ragamuffins and Nathanial Dusk.
McGregor’s impressive body of work also includes comic adventures featuring high profile characters such as Batman, James Bond, Dr. Strange, Blade and Spider-Man.
Beyond comics, McGregor’s prose books include Dragonflame and Other Bedtime Nightmares and The Variable Syndrome.
McGregor, a creative pioneer with both entertainment content and distribution, co-created the ground-breaking Sabre graphic novel and authored the subsequent ongoing comic series. Sabre is acknowledged as one of the very first graphic novels.

Local Pop Culture Expert and Entertainment Marketing Executive Ed Catto will be interviewing Don McGregor at the Finger Lakes Comic Con. The panel is scheduled for the second day of the convention, Saturday, June 9 at 2:00. Catto has interviewed several leading comic creators at conventions, including Neal Adams and Joe Kubert.
At Finger Lakes Comic Con, McGregor will be joined an impressive guest list of other industry professionals including Roger (Avengers) Stern and Tony (Black Lightning) Isabella.
The Finger Lakes Comic Con is a pop culture event that will be held at Auburn’s Finger Lakes Mall Friday, June 8 to Sunday, June 10, 2018. Tickets can be purchased in advance or on site during the Finger Lakes Comic Con.
