SUMMARY: “TEAM YOUNGBLOOD,” Part One
Mission accomplished. Now what? Following the events of “Reborn,” the team begins to reevaluate its purpose while lying low in Japan. Elsewhere, a new threat approaches in the form of a Youngblood-obsessed serial killer.
COMMENTS: “Man of the Year” in this case the Man of the Year is President Diehard. Diehard has to deal with the “Incident in Baltimore” or the entire first arc. It’s hard to tell if Diehard is a bad man or just in the wrong place at the wrong and forced to make the best of a bad situation. The first arc was all about the formation of Youngblood 2.0 but this issue none of them were to be seen and we get the formation of Team Youngblood. We don’t get far enough into the story to see who or what is includded in Team Youngblood. But, it’s a fun set up and will be key to the eventual TPB. All and all a solid start to the new arc.
