COMMENTS: Stray tells the story of Rodney Weller, the former sidekick known as the Rottweiler, When his father, the Doberman, is murdered, Rodney has to decide if he wants to come back to the world of capes and masks. Rodney finally discovers Jumeaux is Duette, who killed his father. The story is told with both the flashbacks of the disillusion of the Doberman and Rottweiler team and the current mystery of who killed the Doberman. Doberman became a hero to solve his wife’s murder. Rodney, the former Rottweiler, is now becoming a hero to solve his father’s murder. Unfortunately, Rodney has lost both his parents. The story resolves the death of both parents and sets Rodney on his path from being Rottweiler to becoming the Stray. Everything is wrapped up nicely and leaves the reader waiting for the squeal.
