SUMMARY: There is no one more loved, revered, admired and adored in Riverdale than… Reggie Mantle? Well, at least Reggie doesn’t think there’s anyone as loved and admired as himself. And his best friend can back that idea up—his best friend, of course, being his dog, Vader. The unstoppable duo is known around town for pulling the funniest pranks, getting the hottest dates and throwing the best parties. And if anyone even dares to compete with them, there is going to be hell to pay. Come take a look at the life of your hero, the handsome, hilarious Reggie Mantle.
COMMENTS: This is a weird one. Your not supposed to like Reggie. Archie is Pureheart and Reggie is Evilheart. How could anyone like Evilheart and want to read his story month after month. He is petty and a bully. This story also shows his pettiness, his ego and need for revenge.
However, Reggie has a dog. I never knew Reggie had a dog. This story is told from the dogs point of view. Reggie’s dog love him just like all dogs love their masters. In fact Reggie’s dog loves Reggie almost as much as he loves himself.
I didn’t think I would like this comic. I was wrong! This was a lot of fun, the reader gets a chance to see Reggie and what motivates him to be an asshole. It’s not so much that you like him, but you can understand him. In a world where Walter White is a hero, Reggie is a hero too. Pick up the first issue, you will be happy you did.
