SUMMARY: Bodies are piling up. Rumours of The Weeping Woman are spreading. The city’s criminal element is running scared, jumping at its own shadow, and turning on itself. But it’s Paz Gallegos who has the most to fear. The closer she draws to the truth of her sisters’ disappearance, the further she drifts from her own humanity and into the waiting arms of Fantomah.
COMMENTS: This issue finally lets us know once and for all that Paz is Fantomah. It has been hinted at the entire mini-series. We also see how the kids in the neighborhood see Fantomah and that was very clever. Up to this issue, the story has been ok, but this issue has some real action and some motivation for what has gone before. Everything is coming together and at the same time, we are still learning more truths about Fantomah. This was an excellent story and is making me excited to see the conclusion.
