COMMENTS: This comic is perfect! Archie breaks the fourth wall and talks directly to the reader. We are told exactly what the new status quo is in Riverdale. The reader knows exactly who Archie is and that is every kid who ever went to High School. Betty instead of being wildly in love with Archie no matter what Archie does, now is Archie’s ex-girlfriend. The gang show how much the love and support Archie in a realistic way. Jughead is smooth, cool and always looking out for Archie. As I said everything is set up to understand the new status quo and it was done masterfully. I couldn’t be happier with the way this all came together! For anyone who ever read Archie comics before, you need to read this issue. You will agree, it fully worth the price of admission. I can’t wait for issue 2!
