Gerald Welch collaborated with the legendary Warren Murphy on the Legacy series which extends the universe of Remo Williams, the Destroyer, and is little father Chiun. Jerry is one of the biggest Destroyer fans around and has not only been writing the stories about Remo’s Viking daughter, Freyja Williams, and his Navy Seal son, Stone Smith, as they carry the Sinanju Legacy into the 21st Century. Along the way, he is also trying to harmonize some of the continuity issues in the original 153 Destroyer Saga. Jerry has also created a Sinanju based board game (TRIBUTE) and several high-quality collectibles including a deck of Sinanju card that is to DIE for! He is also completing Volume 8 in the Legacy series which should be available by Christmas. We had a freewheeling, fun interview and we didn’t really cover everything.
Jerry also has a sci-fi series of his own called “The Last Witness” which combines some of the high concept ideas of the Destroyer series with some of its satire and humor.
He has also done Omnibus volumes for Legacy and The Last Witness that have reference materials and other bonuses for the true fan.
