Alien Books Launches Fan-Focused BLACK, WHITE & BLOODSHOT Kickstarter Campaign

Alien Books, as part of its continued partnership with Valiant Comics, has launched a new Kickstarter campaign for the BLACK, WHITE & BLOODSHOT comic book mini-series and reveals a deeper look at new covers, interior artwork, and exclusive backer rewards.

“The BLACK, WHITE & BLOODSHOT Kickstarter allows us to reach out beyond our usual audience and show them what Alien Books is capable of,” said Alien Books Director Matias Timarchi. “This series was built with comic readers in mind, starting with how we assembled the creative teams and going all the way through to how we picked out the rewards and stretch goals. We plan on delivering all of the backers something well worth their time and money.

Backers of the Kickstarter campaign can choose rewards including digital copies, variant cover bundles of the complete series, an exclusive cover to issue #1 by mangaka Shintaro Kago and a deluxe hardcover collection. For the ultimate collector looking to own something truly unique, an original piece of artwork from artist Al Barrionuevo, an alternative interpretation of his cover to BLACK, WHITE & BLOODSHOT #1, is available at the highest and rarest reward tier.

Early Bird specials are available for the first 48 hours of the campaign offering discounted rates for the “Issue #1 Cover Bundle” and “All Covers #1-4 w/ Variants” bundles.

All of the creators who have contributed a story to the BLACK, WHITE & BLOODSHOT anthology will receive a percentage of the campaign, allowing backers to directly support the writers and artists that helped make the project happen. Some of the industry leading talent who have contributed to the series include Ariel Olivetti, Kevin VanHook, Brian Azzarello, Shintaro Kago, Eduardo Risso, Marc Guggenheim, Tim Seeley, Renato Guedes, Mico Suayan, Guillermo Fajardo, Mirka Andolfo, Fernando Dagnino and more.
