FRIDAY FOSTER: THE SUNDAY STRIPS collects the first mainstream, nationally syndicated comic strip (Chicago Tribune) starring an African American character in the title role. It ran from 1970- 1974 and inspired the 1975 movie of the same name starring Pam Grier. The hardcover collection from ABLAZE was nominated for an Eisner Award and Ringo Award in 2022.
PROMETHEE 13:13 is the Eisner nominated psychological sci-fi horror comic full of alien conspiracy and features artwork by the acclaimed African American artist, Shawn Martinbrough, (Thief of Thieves, Batman: Detective Comics, The Black Panther, Hellboy), and debuts in a collected softcover edition on April 12th.
