Comments: Grendel Prime and his two companions Hari Smythe and Ptolemy Chambers are attacked by vampires. These vampires are fully nude so this is a mature comic. They attack viciously as they want blood. Grendel knows how to fight and the scenes are drawn to show it. It is easy to see Grendel is a warrior in the heat of battle. The vampires are like mongrel ones, but they are not the best examples of the species.
We get a look inside a Casedral and the top vampires are evil creatures preying on the weak humans. The vampires take advantage of the humans.
Hari takes Grendel to Grendel’s Grotto a stronghold for a clan of Grendels. Grendel Prime it is easy to see is way above them in being a Grendel. The way he acts and looks belays that he is the Grendel Prime.
If you have read previous comics about Grendel Prime you will know exactly what he is. Otherwise, that has not yet been revealed in this series.
Grendel is such a presence you can not help but focus on him when he is in the scene.
