Comments: Amara is an older woman and has a nice personality. There is something special about her. Then they are after her and she is running. Who are they? They want her DNA.
When Amara fights back she fights back using all her gifts and she has many. It is a pleasure seeing her in action. Amara is handled like she is an ordinary person just wanting to live her life in peace yet because of her special abilities she can not.
The ones after her are willing to go to any lengths to get her. Whoever they are they are organized and well armed.
Next to nothing is explained about why Amara is wanted so badly or about who the organization is that is after her. It is hard to care about what is going on if you do not know what is going on.
Amara is wonderful to watch using her special abilities. Amara may be drawn old and is old yet she acts like a person half her age.
The abilities Amara uses and she may have even more are exciting as she uses each with a proficiency that says she has done this sort of thing before.
It is a nice touch having an older person as the main character. You rarely see that.
