ITHACON Coloring Contest is BACK

Beloved convention continues new tradition and convention staple

ITHACA, N.Y. (March 23, 2024): An ITHACON staple — the Coloring Contest — returns for convention-goers to get creative with coloring a poster depicting various Superman iterations. Not only is it a fun way to get creative, but participants will be able to show off their skills to industry professionals for a chance to win fantastic prizes! Ten competition finalists will have their work reviewed by longtime comics colorist Glenn Whitmore —who professionally colored the Superman illustration featured on the poster when it debuted.

To get started, fans can download a copy of the poster to color online and view the rules and further details at ITHACON.org.

This contest began as a new way for ITHACON to celebrate and revisit the “Death of Superman” event for its 30th anniversary. After last year’s success, ITHACON has decided to bring it back with a whole new design for ITHACON’s 47th year.

“Creativity is a part of everything that happens at ITHACON. We’re thrilled to repeat our annual Coloring Contest again.” said ITHACON’s Ed Catto.

Tickets, information, and the online download for this poster are available now at ithacon.org.
