‘BOSH’ is bigger-er and better-er than ever before, with 64 beautiful pages brimming with comics, illustrations and cartoons! This new format is actually larger, 254 x 203mm, ALMOST A4! Which gives way more space for our amazing selection of artists.
‘BOSH ZINE’ was Conceived by a bunch of creative folk living on a caravan site back in 2018. On long rainy days, we would play ‘exquisite corpse’, which involved drawing the head, body and legs of whatever surreal, hideous creature our imaginations could conjure up. Those games helped ignite a love for collaboration and led to the creation of ‘BOSH COMIX’, our first step into the world of zine-making. We have since undergone many evolutions, including opening our pages to the rest of the UK and beyond!
We are a Comic Anthology/Zine dedicated to empowering underground and emerging artists and offering readers an escape into a world of silly-ness. Our mission is to build a welcoming and physical space for artists to display their creativity, free from the confines of algorithm-dominated social media platforms.
With a dedicated focus on nurturing raw talent and fostering a community of support, BOSH has successfully curated and crafted twelve distinct issues brimming with diverse comics and illustrations. It’s been an honour to have collaborated with so many talented arty-fartys, who each bring their unique styles and stories to our pages.
With the whole world going digital, it’s easy to forget about the good ol’ print stuff, but by keeping print alive, we’re not just preserving comics – we’re supporting artists and keeping the community strong.
