SAVE NOW Character Profile – Meet Deep Fake!

Out of the pages of the upcoming SAVE NOW event comes the near perfect simulacrum of humanity known only as Deep Fake!

From New York Times bestseller Matt Kindt (BRZRKR) and pulse pounding artist Tomás Giorello (X-O MANOWAR), SAVE NOW is coming to Kickstarter to usher in a new era of science fiction .

SAVE NOW is the story of a man who can ‘save’ any point in his life and return to it, reliving his life from that moment forward with the ability to change his actions. But with great power, also comes great pain. He is cursed with only being able to travel backwards, never forwards, and is burdened by having to spend his relived life in real time. Travel back 6 days, and he must relive those days in full, all the while, aging in real time.

Debuting in the SAVE NOW: DEEP FAKE B-Side from writer Matt Kindt and artist Juan José Ryp, this bio-engineered, organic A.I. has its origins in the depths of the Second World War. Copied from a military grade computer intelligence and then smuggled out of the top secret program, Deep Fake’s first version served a very different purpose.

After years of bucolic domestic life, Deep Fake’s creator sent her creation into the world to grow and change and become so much more. Deep Fake explored the world, humanity and itself. Iterating its design, studying the people around it, and crafting and perfecting its persona and its programming. Finally settling on its current form and its current role serving alongside Saver as a member of Integrity International.
