Comments: “Monster Mash-Up!” Trick and Treat the two mischievous Halloween imps pay Archie and the gang a visit. Trick does come up with some tricks to play on Archie and Jughead. Halloween becomes very scary. Treat just stuffs himself with candy. It’s a cute short story with great art.
“Cemetary Situation” This story is filled with all you need for Halloween, a haunted house, ghosts, a cemetary, bats, and scared teens. A new member of the gang Shrill enjoys Halloween so much and loves the spooky stuff. The art is in the traditional Archie style and brings this story to life well except for the zombies.
“Man’s Best Fiend” A vampire does get frustrated with Archie and Jughead. Archie and Jughead just want a good scare but no they are too oblivious to what is around them to be scared. Dracula is illustrated with a touch of fright and a touch of just a plain guy.
“Frightful Faceoff!” Sabrina is afraid well until she realizes facing her fears is the best way to get over them. She and Amber do make for two beautiful witches.
There are so many cover illustrations and pin-ups here and all of them tied into Halloween. These are cool one picture looks at how fun Halloween is.
