I just finished reading another of Joel Jenkins incredible novels. I think I’ve read most of his books over the past several years. Unbelievable as it sounds, Joel Jenkins books are even better than ever. I think there is over 40 books written by Joel, each one seems better than the one before. Joel Jenkins has written every genre I can think of and is the master of all. Very few writers have the ability to match his talent in any genre he has tackled.
As far as I remember MD Jackson has done most, if not all of Joel’s books. I’ve been impressed by all the covers he has done. I’m going to have to see if his art is available as a card set.
Swords of Saffronyia is a collection of short stories from Weird Worlds of Joel Jenkins Volume 1, 2 & 3. The rest of the book has several more short stories. The book is set in a Post Apocalyptic future, where they live a simple life without any of the modern conveniences.
Even though there are several short stories, it easily flows into one book. I like how it combines both the “simple life” with Fairies and Giants. A very enjoyable read and I look forward to seeing what is next for the town of Saffronyia.
