Wild River Comics launch ‘Immortal London’ imprint for MCM London and new Kickstarter campaign!

The new imprint will provide a cohesive home for their flagship title, Daughters of Albion, and its range of tie-in series.

After two successful Kickstarter campaigns to launch Daughters of Albion #1 and Lurker #1, Wild River Comics are thrilled to announce the debut of their Immortal London imprint as a home for their burgeoning Albion-verse!

The new imprint and logo will make its debut on copies of Lurker #1, which are currently being sent out to backers after another successful Kickstarter campaign. Wild River will also be selling copies of their convention exclusive version of Lurker #1 at their Immortal London booth at MCM London Comic Con from October 28-30.

Variant cover artist Alison Sampson will be on-hand to sign copies of the convention exclusive at the show, alongside Immortal London concept artist Matt Timpson, who will be conducting live-draw sessions throughout the event.

If that wasn’t enough, Wild River will be debuting their Kickstarter campaign for Daughters of Albion issue #2 on Thursday, October 27, before the convention starts! This will also be under the Immortal London imprint, and features the introduction of regular series artist, Roy Allan Martinez (Captain America, Fantastic Four, X-Factor).

“I’ve been a huge fan of Roy’s for a long time,” says Immortal London editor Martin Eden. “And bringing him on to join regular series writer Beanie White has been a natural fit. We’re already working ahead on Daughters of Albion, and the best is definitely yet to come.”

Daughters of Albion introduces readers to an alternate London where magic and technology co-exist. When cyberpunk hacker Hashani discovers a magical amulet dropped by two strange beings, she and her friends start to uncover the mysteries of Albion, which has been simmering beneath the surface all along.

Issue 2 has two main covers for backers to choose between – a regular cover by artist Alan Quah (Wolverine, Spider-Man, Marvels) and a Kickstarter exclusive variant by superstar Tula Lotay (All Star Batman, American Vampire, Scarlet Witch) – along with a host of extra bonuses and rewards for those who really want to support the team.

According to studio head Trevor Jayakody: “This is an exciting time for Wild River Comics as we embrace and adopt the Immortal London imprint as our main brand identity going forward. Get ready to see even more of us at shows and online over the coming months – we’re just getting started.”

The Daughters of Albion #2 Kickstarter campaign launches on October 27 with an early-bird incentive for initial backers, along with a variety of rewards tiers to suit all tastes and budgets.
