Comments: Teddy a young boy shows his independence as he goes forth and begins an adventure of a lifetime. He loves comics and a super-hero from them called Captain Splendid.
Teddy and his new found friend are off to a wonderful start. Teddy has the right attitude for a super-hero sidekick. His friend well he just seems to go along with Teddy.
The art is outstanding. The two main characters draw you to them and keep you focused on them.
The story does not go in the direction you might think it will. Teddy though does live a long and adventurous life.
It is touching the way his new friend was there at the start of his new life and at the end. The story is touching.
