What if Toystory was a horror story. Ok, this story is just weird but in a good way. It has a surprising surprise. The art is cute with a morbid twist to it. It will have you thinking and a little afraid of your toys.
“Forever Young”
This story is a play on IT and Peter Pan. It is done very darkly. We do see a bond between a brother and sister and that it is tested. You will feel the mother’s terror. The art suits the story beautifully.
“Mindgames”
The Commander is a super-hero and Medusa a supervillain in Dusk County. Here we see a hero who has been pushed to far and pushes back. He does what he thinks is fair and just. By doing so he becomes a dark reflection of himself.
“Just Right”
A woman out in the county stumbles upon a family of werewolves. The scene is one of bloody slaughter. This one has a cute ending you will not see coming.
These stories are full of twists and turns with a dark evil lurking within the pages. That evil stands ready to jump out at you.
