In the works since 2010 an enormous fantasy-adventure graphic novel called Vattu. It’s ending on September 12, 2022, and the entire project will be free to read at rice-boy.com, where it’s been serializing it from the start.
Vattu is an ambitious and cohesive graphic novel written from an anti-authoritarian perspective, following a girl from a nomadic society and her collision with a huge conquering empire. It’s set in an entirely invented world full of different sorts of nonhuman characters.
Aside from Vattu, other webcomic graphic novels Rice Boy and Order of Tales, the Island Book graphic novel trilogy with First Second Books, and the Harrowing of Hell with Iron Circus Comics.
