Twenty-three years ago, the “10thMuse” comic book series launched at Image Comics as the sixth highest selling comic book for the release. This week TidalWave is launching a new ongoing series featuring the Muse.
“10th Muse: New Beginnings” is a new series that is a fresh start for the character and a great jumping on point for new readers. The 22-page comic book is available in print on Amazon or where you can buy books. The comic book is written by Darren G. Davis and Michael Frizell, with art by Igor Cicarini.

We have new villains as well beloved TidalWave characters showing up in the series. The artwork by Igor is just as good as when Roger Cruz was on the title years ago. I can’t wait for people to read this new series,” said 10th Muse creator and co-writer Darren G. Davis.
“Working on a new direction for the 10th Muse makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop. I try not to think about the fact that Marv Wolfman – one of my favorite comic writers – used to script the series. I think I’d lock up because I respect his work and what he and Darren created years ago.” said co-writer Michael Frizell.
