The art is over the top. The action is pulse pounding. The characters are drawn is if for a younger age.
Cougar and Cub are not your average super-heroes. Whatever you were expecting this is not it.
Cougar and Cub while having a boring night of patrol take a break and they get closer together. There is a big age difference but both are over eighteen.
Cougar and Cub do have one strange Rogues Gallery. They do look like losers.
The backup story “Wind the Clock: Cougar and Cub through the Ages”. Artist Daniel Arruda Massa, writer Rosie Knight and letterer Nick Marino. The art here is done in a retro style. The story basically has Cougar going out and picking up Cub. She does kick a worm to.
The comic does not really know if it wants to be funny or serious. It should make up its mind.
